What Is PRP Therapy?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a procedure in which platelet-rich plasma, separated from the patient’s own blood, is injected into the scalp.
The Procedure
Before the procedure, blood is drawn from the patient and processed in a centrifuge to separate the plasma. The resulting PRP is then injected into the scalp using fine needles. The procedure takes 20–30 minutes.
Who Is It Suitable For?
It can be used as a supportive treatment for early-stage hair loss or before/after hair transplantation. It is typically performed in several sessions.
