What Is Baldness?
Baldness is permanent hair loss caused by hair follicles shrinking over time and losing their function. Male-pattern baldness is classified using the Norwood scale, while female-pattern baldness is classified using the Ludwig scale.
Medication Treatments
Minoxidil and finasteride may help slow hair loss. They are more effective in early-stage hair loss; in advanced cases of baldness, they may not be sufficient on their own.
PRP and Hair Transplantation
PRP therapy aims to strengthen hair follicles by applying plasma derived from the patient’s own blood to the scalp.
In advanced stages of baldness, hair transplantation is considered the most effective solution for achieving permanent results.
