Day 1
Mild swelling and redness may occur in the transplant area after the procedure; this is the body’s normal healing response.
Days 2–3
The scabbing process may begin. These scabs will naturally fall off as they are softened through the care routine recommended by your doctor.
Days 4–7
Swelling and redness usually subside. The first washes are performed according to your doctor’s instructions.
